An Aussie mate's birthday card

Welcome crafty friends!

I have another card with you to share, and, being Australian at heart, I must admit that this is one of my most favourite stamp sets: Critters Down Under from Lawn Fawn!
I love the sunrise colors in the Australian Outback and tried to recreate them here with the soft purple Distress ink. The boomerangs are heat embossed to add some more interest & the clouds I've colored myself with watercolor pencils on watercolor paper & simply fuzzy cut them out - I love them raised from the suble background!

Supplies used:
- water color paper & black/brown cardstock
- Lawn Fawn - Critters Down Under
- watercolor pencils
- Glossy Accents (for the koala´s nose)
- clear embossing powder

    oh that sunset in the background is so pretty!! i can only imagine how stunning it is in person!! i LOVE that card - those little boomerangs in the background are adorable!! what a fun idea!! thanks for playing along this week with the Lawnscaping Challenge! :D
